My wife and i are looking at a cottage that has a metal roof. It appears to be bare metal (inspection pending). The cottage is roughly 1900 sqft and the roof is roughly square. Assuming it is bare metal what materials and time and estimated cost is needed to insulate this roof?

This seems to be at high risk of condensation on the underside of the metal roof. Here's a recent industry webinar on this subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYwD9CWveKY At this point, I'd suggest a closed cell urethane spray foam contractor be called in to consult regarding the feasibility of spraying the underside of the roof with their product. I am not sure what the cost would be. A rough guess would be $5 - 6000 but that is a very rough guess.
