I have a few rusted sections or drip edge need replacement.
Any tricks to taking out old drip
fastening pattern 12 in.
getting screws in same hole, is that a concern
after removal can i put down a 4 inch adhesive roofing product over the section and place drip edge over that with or without butyl?
thank you

I think this will be very difficult to do without removing the roof panels. Is that, though, what you'd like to do?

i am thinking of going back two or three feet and removing the screws. At that point i may be able to slip a 1x2 firing above the drip edge and depending on how much lift i can get either 3/4 or 1.5 inches to give me some room to work. there are three 10 foot sections and it is a hip. If taking out the panels i would have to take out the hip and ridge cap along with the panels. With doing it that way would i have to reseal the entire section?
