PORTLAND, Ore.—The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) announced that it is partnering with Today’s Homeowner, hosted by Emmy-nominated home improvement expert Danny Lipford, this season to help promote the benefits of metal roofing nationwide.

The partnership, which includes television and radio exposure on more than 200 local stations in Today’s Homeowner’s nationally-syndicated markets, is designed to highlight the exceptional performance, efficiency and longevity of metal roofs, especially in areas that experience harsh climates such as hurricane and wildfire prone regions. In addition to the broadcast exposure during the prime spring and summer roofing season, MRA also is hosting a monthly “Metal Roofing Raves” giveaway in partnership with Today’s Homeowner on www.metalroofing.com from now until October, 2018.

While the popularity of metal roofing has boomed recently, MRA’s goal for the campaign is to increase awareness and education among homeowners to help the market continue to grow.

“Homeowners are realizing that metal roofs are a better investment for their home in terms of longevity, sustainability and durability,” said Renee Ramey, executive director of the MRA. “Our focus is to continue to support market adoption in both the U.S. and Canada through partnerships like the one with Today’s Homeowner.”

Along with the performance benefits, the Today’s Homeowner campaign will emphasize the many different styles, colors and design options now available with metal roofs. Creating awareness that metal roofs not only help protect, but also add great curb appeal is a message MRA is working to drive home. From modern to traditional, new design options in the metal roofing market have skyrocketed in recent years, yet many homeowners still don’t realize that metal roofs offer more style choices than any other type of roofing material.

“There are still myths about metal roofs that need to be overcome,” said Ramey. “As the last roof homeowners will ever need, our mission is to ensure that more people understand the outstanding return that can be realized by making an investment in metal roofing for their home.”
