New Metal Roof Install with no interlocking/hemming at valley or drip edges.

Good morning! Roofing contractors just finished installing my standing seam roof. When I saw it, I immediately noticed the metal was not hemmed at the drip edges. Because of this, I went and checked the valleys. They too are not interlocked or hemmed. The work is obviously not the best, i.e., scratches, nail dings, etc., but my main concern is whether or not this roof will potentially fail in the near future. I communicated my concern with the contractor, and even though there's a YouTube video from the manufacturer (Central State) showing the metal being interlocked at both locations, he said it's installed correctly and he's not fixing it. Additionally, he said if I replace it, he wants the metal back. I've withheld paying him until I get some more information regarding my concern. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My daughter just purchased a home with a metal roof. The roof appears new but water flies off of the roof over the eaves. I don't think anything is present to prevent water flow. The basement is also wet, probably because the water runs over the eaves. What can be done?
