We live in Northern California in what has become, over the past decade, a high wildfire risk area. We read in all the home hardening suggestions that we should have roof end inside closures for our metal roof. Those were not required nor installed when our home was built. Where in the world do we find nonflammable inside roof end closures for a r panel roof ? We have to DIY this project, so thanks in advance for the direction.
Also, to anyone considering a metal roof either for a new home or for a retrofit: Our metal roof is probably the thing we appreciate most about our home. Extraordinarily durable, fire "proof", beautiful and LONG LASTING with unbelievably low maintenance.
