Back in August you made reference to "RICOWI" which you thought would be issuing a report on which types of roofs did better during hurricane Charley. Now that we have had Frances and who knows who is coming next, where can one find out how various roof types did in the bad weather?

There is still plenty of anecdotal information coming in about metal doing very well. There have also been plenty of stories about clay and concrete tile "missiles" during the high winds.
The RICOWI Charley report has not yet been issued ... I suspect it will take 60 - 90 days.
I also suspect that the RICOWI team is in place researching Frances damage as well.

There mandate is to report on the tyes of damage and why, not on which roof type did better as there are too many other factors. There report was due out. I would contact Joe Wilson from Metro as he is chairman.
