DATES OF PROMOTION: The MRA “Metal Roofing Raves” Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) will start at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 15, 2018 and will end at 11:59 p.m. PT on October 19, 2018 (the “Promotion Period”). Promotion is subject to the entry periods and drawing dates outlined in the “ENTRY PERIODS” Section below. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Official Rules"), all times are given in Pacific Time.
SPONSOR: The Metal Roofing Alliance ("Sponsor"), PO Box 2799, Longview, WA 98632.
ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to (a) legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who are at least the age of majority in their state of residence (which is nineteen (19) in Alabama, Nebraska, twenty-one (21) in Mississippi, and eighteen (18) in all other states) OR (b) legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of the province of Quebec) who are at least the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry (collectively referred to herein as “Entrant(s)”). (collectively referred to herein as “Entrant(s)”) . Employees and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings or spouse, regardless of where they live, or persons living in same household, whether related or not) of the Sponsor, Today’s Homeowner (promotional partner) and each of their respective parent companies, divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and any others engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Promotion, are not eligible to participate. Promotion is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and in the case of Canadian Entrants shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), without regard to conflict of law provisions. Promotion is void in Puerto Rico, Quebec, US territories and possessions located outside of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia or Canada, and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law. By entering this Promotion, Entrant indicates his/her full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the decision of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
ENTRY PERIODS: There will be five (5) entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”) held during the Promotion Period. For each Entry Period, one (1) Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received during the respective Entry Period. Each Prize Winner will win a first prize (each, a “First Prize”).

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per calendar day for each Entry Period. Non-winning eligible entries from previous Entry Periods will not carry over to the next Entry Period. Entrants must enter each Entry Period separately in order to be eligible for each Entry Period drawing.
HOW TO ENTER:
www.metalroofing.com: To enter, entrants must fill out the official entry form on the MRA website and answer the question: "What do you appreciate about metal roofing" in 140 characters or less. From the qualified responses, a monthly winner will be randomly drawn, based on the schedule listed above. Entry will include collecting names and emails.
Entries are limited to one (1) per calendar day for the duration of the Promotion Period. Entrant may not use multiple email accounts to enter. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different identities and/or any other methods will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Promotion. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be disqualified. Winning a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its agencies to use prize winners’ names, addresses (city & state/province/territory), voices and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity, for this Promotion only, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Contest sponsors and partners are not responsible for any entry that is lost, late, misdirected or undeliverable, whether due to system errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmissions or any other reason, theft or destruction or failures, faulty transmissions or other telecommunication malfunctions, entries not received resulting from any hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or telephone transmissions, typographical or system errors and failures, technical malfunctions, or otherwise. No mechanically or programmatically reproduced entries are permitted. Late entries or entries sent via any other method will not be accepted. All entries become the sole property of the Sponsor, and the Sponsor has no obligation to acknowledge receipt of or to return any entry received.
WINNING/ODDS:
Odds of winning a Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the respective Entry Period. The awarding of all prizes is subject to verification by the Sponsor whose decisions are based upon their sole discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and are final and binding in all respects. A POTENTIAL PRIZE WINNER IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE PROMOTION SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY HAVE BEEN VERIFIED BY THE SPONSOR.
PRIZES:
First Prizes: Each First Prize Winner will receive a $100 Home Depot Card. Estimate ARV of each prize is $100USD/$125.92CAD. A total of five (5) First Prizes will be awarded for the entire Promotion. The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in this Promotion is $500USD
There is a limit of one (1) Prize winner per person/household. Prize winners agree that all prizes are being provided “as is”, and the Released Parties (as defined in the “NO LIABILITY” section below) make no warranty, representation, or guarantee regarding any prize, including but not limited to its quality, condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Prize winners must look solely to the manufacturer of prizes for any such warranties or guarantees, if any. No transfer, substitution or cash redemption of prizes is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if prize becomes unavailable due to reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor. Prize winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes if applicable. No more than the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. All prizes will be awarded.
NOTIFICATION:
Email: Each prize winner will be contacted via email and must respond within five (5) days and provide specific personal information to include his/her first name, last name, physical address, city, state, zip, email and date of birth.
In the event the Sponsor cannot reach a prize winner via the applicable Notification method listed above, a prize winner does not respond by the date indicated within such Notification, or it is determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, that a prize winner is not eligible in accordance with these Official Rules, such prize winner will be disqualified (without compensation of any kind). An alternate prize winner will be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received per the applicable drawing.
PRIZE CLAIMS: Prize Winners will be automatically shipped his/her Prize upon receipt and verification of the personal information and if Canadian Resident, completion of a mathematical skills testing question. In the event the Prize Winner’s Prize is returned for any reason, Sponsors will make a reasonable attempt to contact the Prize Winner to obtain the correct mailing address. In the event a correct address is unable to be provided, the Prize Winner will forfeit the right to his/her Prize and an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the respective Entry Period. Winners are responsible for taxes due based on value of the prize.
Rights Granted to Sponsor and Promotional Partner: Except where prohibited and subject to confidential application information, by entering the Sweepstakes you irrevocably agree that Sponsor and Promotional Partner may use your name, submission and any verbal or written statements regarding your participation in the Sweepstakes (collectively, "Your Likeness") throughout the world, in perpetuity, in any media, without limitation or compensation to you. You waive privacy/publicity rights and other legal or moral rights that might preclude the use of Your Likeness, and you agree not to sue or assert any claim against Sponsor and Promotional Partner relating to their use of Your Likeness.
GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION: By participating in this Promotion, Entrants and prize winners release each and all of the Promotion Entities from any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described) with respect to or arising out of participation in the Promotion, and/or the receipt or use/misuse of the prizes awarded, including, without limitation, liability for personal injury, death or property damage. By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final in all respects and not subject to appeal. Sponsor reserves the right permanently to disqualify from this Promotion any Entrant it believes has violated these Official Rules. Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Promotion or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other Entrants, Sponsor, or Promotion Entities. If for any reason this Promotion is not able to be conducted as planned, including, but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and randomly draw from those entries received up to the cancellation/suspension date. This Promotion is governed by the laws of the United States.
NO LIABILITY: By participating, Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and Promotion Entities from and against any claims made by prize winners related in any way to the operation of this Promotion.
Disputes and Governing Law: By participating, Entrants forever and irrevocably release, indemnify, and hold harmless, Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, agents and all others associated with the development and execution of the Promotion from and against any injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by Entrant's participation in the Promotion and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the prize, including without limitation personal injury, death, and/or property damage. Entrants agree that Sponsor is not responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the Promotion and/or the awarding of any prize. In the event that the preceding release and indemnity clause is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or void for any reason, Entrant agrees that, by entering the Promotion, (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action in connection with the Promotion, or any prizes awarded, will be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any claims, judgments and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Promotion, but in no event attorney's fees; and (iii) and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses. Entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor or Entrants in connection with the Promotion, will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Entrants consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts in the State of Washington.
For Canadian Entrants, this Promotion is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec), without regard to conflict law provisions or principles. By participating, Canadian Entrants consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Toronto, Ontario, as well as legal proceedings in those courts.
