Does the metal panels just hang over the edge all the way around my house or do I need to close the edge to keep the wind from blowing under the panels? Would this be accomplished by a formed angle or what would be suggested.

There should be pre-formed accessories used on all roof edges.
Manufacturers of quality metal roofing will provide these along with their roofing panels.
