I am considering a new roof for a manufactured home in Wellington, Nev. Would a metal roof work there? It is a 1997 model, there is substancial snow and wind in the area.

Metal roofing can work on manufactured homes but you have to use the right product for the job. This will entail knowing things like the pitch of your roof, what sort of roof decking and existing roofing are in place on the home, how it is structurally supported, and what ventilation exists in the home and then taking that information to manufacturers of metal roofing products you like (these can be researched through this website) and asking them which, if any, of their products would work on your home.
