Living in Florida, we have to be concerned about tropical storm and hurricane force winds. What are your products "track record" here in Florida - especially during hurrican season?
Thanks.

That will vary some from product to product. However, as you make inquiries direct with various manufacturers, you will find thta most products have passed the tests required by Dade County, Florida.

I have two quotes for 26 Gauge and one for 24 - I live on a canal in Florida and just trying to determine which gauge is better for Florida where we do have the Windy Season?

Wind resistance has a lot to do with installation and product design but just metal thickness. Look for a product that has a high wind rating and make sure it has been installed per manufacturer specifications.
