I'm trying to find if there is a Certification for individuals so we can offer the weathertightness warranty, and also a certification to train and certify subcontractors to install SSMR. We are a distributor of Coils for roof panels and trim and we are trying to offer the weathertightness warranty and also offer the service of Project Management to our clients.
I e-mailed the MCA and NRCA and they don't have any.

There is no industry certification for this at this time.
I would suggest checking with your coil supplier or machine manufacturer to see what certification or training programs they may offer.

So how does MBCI and Berridge can offer training seminars and certify installers?
What I see here is that you need to have your system certified by UL and ASTM for uplift, water penetration, fire, etc... then based on the experience of your PM staff train your installer subcontractors and extend a certification and offer the weathertightness warranty.
Is this how it works? or how can they do that if there is no such certification in the Industry?...

I do not know details of how the Berridge and MBCI programs work. They may just be certifying that people have gome through training with them. I am not sure ... are they certifying the product or the employees? And if they are certifying product, what components / attributes are they certifying.
ASTM develops test protocols. They do not certify nor test anything themselves I don't believe.
UL develops test protocols and also operates as an independent lab to perform tests. Their tests are done on the product samples they are given. They do not generally certify ongoing performance unless the manufacturer subscribes to their service of ongoing inspection and evaluation. And, again, you would need to in that case look at exactly what attributes of the product they are actually inspecting.

they are certifying the product, their roof system, and also they certify the people installing the people that install their products/system.
on UL they are certified for wind uplift (UL90), fire rate, Water penetration (UL580)
On ASTM they are water and air tested (E1592)
My question again is, If I certify my product under UL and ASTM to cover the requirements for water and air infiltration, color faded, fire rate, hail resistance, etc... then my system is weathertightness guarantied? and if I train the installers on how to install my system based on what was accepted under UL and ASTM then they are certified too. does that make sense to you? since there is not really a standard weathertightness certification program available in the industry.

Just because you meet UL and ASTM requirements does not mean automatic certification from a manufacturer. Individual manufacturers will likely have additional requirements.
