We experienced a blowing snow storm. We have about 1.5' x 3' interlocking panel system with wood battens inderneath. These panels don't actually lock but they lay over each other and are fastened into the wood battems. Snow actually made its way in and under our steel shingles where it was actually laying on the tar paper. It's been installed correctly. We've had it inspected. But the contractor is having a hard time figuring out what actually went wrong. There are some theories but nothing definate decided. Our shingles were actually packed in with snow. Is that normal, and if not, what could possibly cause this to happen?
