Help! Our roofing contractor assured us he had installed skylites in metal roofs when we recieved our bid. We have a gambrel roof (barn house) with 2 skylites and it looks like 2nd graders put the skylites it. Velux vented skylites that have metal roofingpatched around them with pop rivets. He has no clue what to do, HELP

I am sorry to hear about this.
Skylight flashing is determined to a large degree by the profile of metal roofing you're having installed.
It is really critical that you find out who the manufacturer of the roofing is and then get them in contact with your contractor to work through and resolve this situation.
I wish I had a magic wand I could wave from here and fix things but I simply don't.
As a last result, email me pictures of the situation and I will try to help.
