Hello, I am a homeowner who just had a metal standing seam roof installed on a porch and garden shed. Within 2 weeks I have noticed on the standing seam where the paint has chipped away... is that normal? What is the solution?

This is not normal. You should contact the supplier immediately. If it is minor from site work it can be touched up however if it is along the coil edge it could indicate a problem with the paint system. Solution then is to change the roof.
