In my 20+ years in residential metal roofing, I have never heard of a problem with standard radio reception inside a metal roofed home. Also, I know that many types of "all-metal" buildings, such as those used for factories and barns, have radios playing in them all the time. I do not have any sort of technical or detailed answer for you though -- sorry. Perhaps other users of this forum will have additional input. Although I may have a couple more years experience in the metal roofing industry I as well have had few comments on the issue over the years. In fact we have had people state that the reception was better. Maybe you can be a test and can get some mafufacturers to participate.
