I am having a home built and I want a metal roof. I have been Quoted $3000 to cover the 2500sqft home. Is that a reasonable amount and should I shop around for another dealer.
The home is a 32x84 mobile home. Thank you,

I am sorry I was misleading. I meant to say that this $3000.00 was going to be the cost to upgrade from Textured Shingles to the Metal Roof. So it is $3000.00 more for the upgrade to Metal. Does that sound about right? Thanks Again, Dewey

That sounds appropriate for what most consider the "low end" of metal roofing -- a through-fastened "corrugated" type of sheet steel roof.
The neat thing about metal is that it does come in a wide variety of styles and products to meet a wide variety of budgets. Each has its own inherent durability as well as other factors.
