I live in staff accomadation in a brand new boarding school, which has a metal roof. We have had major problems with extreme levels of condensation in the roof space which had no where to go but down into our appartment and into the boys rooms. The school had the builders remove the roof and re-insulate and re-roof. Six months later we are back to square one with damp in the appartment. I have been told by the builders that there is not ventilation in the roof space, the architects said we didn't need it. This can not be correct? The school in now in the process of sorting this problem again and I want to help with information for the school.
