Can you give me a cost "range" (I understand you can only "estimate" not knowing all the "particulars" of the house) to replace a 7-yr-old asphalt shingle roof on an ~1300-ft2 home with cathedral ceilings (located in Knoxville, TN)? I do not need a roof yet, but I like the looks of the metal roofs and love the fact that they carry such an extensive warranty. Consequently, I am "window shopping" and toying with the idea of replacing the existing roof with a metal one, both for looks/durability as well as for increased resale value. I need a "ball park" cost range to decide if this would even be an affordable venture for me at this time. Thank you for any information you can provide.
