On steel products, thre are numerous quality metallic coatings as well as final finishes (paint and aggregate coatings) which provide great corrosion resistance. I would suggest looking for either G90 galvanized or AZ 50 galvalume as the base metal in steel products. You also have your choice of other metals such as aluminum and copper.
