Quick apology in advance, I'm sure this question has been asked but I couldn't fine it. I'm thinking of putting Pro-Rib on a simple Gable garage. The existing shingles are curling all over and leaking in spots. After I strip the shingles and replace some plywood panels what does the steel sheeting go over? Do I put the 1x4s down and screw into them? What about insulation? There is an attic in the garage.
Any help including links to information I can dig up myself is greatly appreciated.

Check with the manufacturers installation recommendations.
In terms of insulation, if there is an attic over the garage, that is where the insulation would go if you were trying to condition that garage space. In most cases, you are not trying to condition the garage space so the question is moot.
