I am trying to get my 3' wide ribbed steel panels on a second story roof. Some of the panels are 24' long. How can I get them up there safely? Also the roof pitch is an 8/12. I put a ridge bracket on my extension ladder and carpeted the roof side of the ladder to not scrtatch the steel when fastening it. But installing the ridge cap is near imposible without falling off the roof. I have started on a lower smaller roof line and took several chances while installing the ridge cap but I have fallen off 3 times and tore both of my rotator cuffs. Some people from church are willing to help me but they have some concearns.
