Have metal roof with 5in gutters, with light rain all works well but in heavy rain water over shoots gutters completely, 6in gutters would help some but dont think total solution, any thoughts??

Going to a 6" gutter will help. Additionally, mount the gutters as high as possible, maintaining proper slope for drainage.
Putting splash guards at the bottom of valleys may be helpful too.

I've tried those things, do you have any other suggestions? DO you know if there is any way to put some sort of a devirter at the bottom of the panel to slow the water down some how?
