We have a low slope shed type roof with skylights currently covered by a leaky membrane roof system. We are looking at options to replace this roof and wondered if a metal roof over the pool is a feasible idea considering all the pool chemicals & corrosion of the metal; in addition to the low slope problem.

I assume you have decking down. Assuming that is the case, yes, I think this could be done.
However, you must choose a metal roof that is suitable for the roof pitch you have. Also, I am concerned about potential moisture problems. DO you have any methods of limiting the moistur einside this room?
