A recent e-solicitation extolled the virtues of how fireproof a metal roof home is during an exterior fire.
How safe is this same roof with an interior fire?
Theory dictates what cannot get in, cannot get out, as well.
Hence, if firemen come to extinguish the fire, they will find the roof impenetrable to dousing the fire prior to
extinguishing it.

Some of us manufacturers have our systems tested for this as well. If fact what it has shown is that the structure holds together longer and is safer for the firemen to fight from the inside.
As well it has been demonstrated that the thin sheet steeel cuts quite readily with a firemans axe.
