I just had nail strip standing seam installed, and it arrived with the nail strip being just a little strip of metal, and no prepunched places for the screws, but just a little valley for the screw. The manufacturer said its the new design, and the new machine is 1000 times better. I can see the machine or the panel bends do look good. Question is how can it expand and contract...or is it not the issue everyone makes it to be. Seems they put screws every 2 foot, sometimes 1 foot. I asked vendor and they claim its not an issue. If it becomes an issue is there any recourse.
