pardon my lack of inforamtion in mt other posting, my house is 40 by 40 with a side prch of 10 by 24 as stated its a hip roof
witha 6/12 pitch. hope thsi helps

It will be close to 2352 square feet (23.5 SQ) That is the actual square footage. You will definately have some waste due to the hip style roof. Figure 10% waste, and you would have 26 SQ.
(this information is just to give you an idea of the number of SQ. Different types of metal roofing may incur additional waste depending on their size and installation method, so the actual number of SQ will vary.)
