hi againe, and i ddint know ehen i poste dmy question anout not asking for price quoets, undertanable.
my new question is can you give me a esitmate how many square of shingles it will require for a 6/12 pitch hip roof? the house is about 1500 square feet.

What is the actual size?
example: 30' x 50'
Also how much soffit overhang does it have all the way around it?
example: 24"
Are there any other parts of the roof like porches, dormers, etc?

It will be close to 2352 square feet (23.5 SQ) That is the actual square footage. You will definately have some waste due to the hip style roof. Figure 10% waste, and you would have 26 SQ.
(this information is just to give you an idea of the number of SQ. Different types of metal roofing may incur additional waste depending on their size and installation method, so the actual number of SQ will vary.
