Wind raised our metal roof and in some areas the screws were sticking all the way out 2 to 3 inches. We also had hail damage. We were told we could replace all fasteners with new fasteners. Then someone else told us that when you replace the fasteners they will eventually leak and also the metal will not seal back down properly. Is this true?
