The house is located in an area with extreme weather conditions. There are 20 valleys in the roof design. We are looking into the possibility of installing a copper stand-up seam roof. Is this a good choice, given the conditions? Can you recommend an alternative to this option that would have similar looks?
Thank you

Your area is one of the hardest on any roof system as it swings all over the place and any condensation and ice daming cause problems.
Choose a professional contactor. Make sure the the roof system is vented properly. Copper is an excellant choice as it allows for soldering of critical areas, but like everything, it must be put on right.
