We live in a townhouse community where there are overhangs (forgive me if I don't use the correct terminology) over the bay windows that have copper roofing. Our homeowner's association recently informed us that we have to paint our copper roofing. I have never heard of this before and didn't think that copper was paintable. I would also assume that color could vary a lot with paints and if all our neighbors started painting their overhang roofs, it would look awful. Am I correct, or is there paint that can be used to "refresh" the copper? If so, would you know the type of paint needed?
Thanks!
