Hello. We are about to install a snap-lock standing seam roof by MACWEST on our cottage in Quebec and I would appreciate any pointers on doing the flashing around the chimney. Does anyone have a website that I could go to to check out some drawings? Thanks very much.

The MRA members who manufacture vertical seam panels should have some instructions they would share if you contact them individually.
I am also surprised if MacWest does not have good details for this.

It depends entirely on what kind of metal roof you are installing.
If you email direct to me at [email protected] with your address, I can send you instructions for how to flash the metal roofing my company manufactures but I do not know how helpful it will be for your project.

I am installing a metal roof on a house that has a chimney in the center of the roof. It is probably around a 45 degree angle and the panels are 3'wide X 193" long with three ribs. How should I go about flashing in the chimney when all of the sides have different measurments? Any help or advice would be appreciated.

If this is as I understand it, the angle of the chimney simplifies things. The lower two sides can be handled like roof to wall flashings and the upper two like valleys.
Make sure you get instructions from your roofing manufacturer.
