Our roof leaks, and runs onto plastic sheeting inside, above the ceiling tiles. We are adding another building onto this one, side by side and want a better roof. We would like to solve the leak and get the right roof the second time.
There are thousands of screws in the roof and it is difficult to caulk as this causes little pools of water to collect.
what do you suggest?

I do not know a lot of details about what you have going on.
One thing I might do first is contact the manufacturer of your current roof for their input.
There are countless residential metal roofs, including most of the products on this website, that do not have exposed fasteners.
