New sunroom aluminum roof panels make very loud popping and banging noises when they expand and contract. Sunroom lnstaller says there is nothing they can do. Is there anyway to eliminate this noise?

Are these insulated panels I assume? Those are a very different animal from residential metal roof panels. Chances are the popping with these panels will get some better over time but not go away.

I have a sunroom with aluminum roof panels also, insulation under them and panels in the room itself. I've had the room for about 6 years now and it still makes popping sounds on a sunny day when the sun is overhead. I would love to find a solution to those noises.

It sounds like these may be aluminum-faced insulated panels rather than something like single skin standing seam panels. Is that correct?
My guess if the above is true is that when they were installed not enough gap was left at the uphill edge to allow for movement. The issue could also be in the joint between panels.
This sort of patio cover insulated panel is a bit outside the expertise of this group. I would suggest going back to the panel manufacturer or contacting another leading manufacturer of patio room covers to see what they say.
