Hi, I am a homeowner and have a pro panel roof installed in late 2001 or early 2002 on my house when I built it. I acted as the general contractor and hired out the professionals but did a good 80% - 90% of the work myself. The pro panel has been a great roof and we really like it.
I recently saw an article about permanently fixing flat roofs, which are very prevalent in my area. I believe that fix involves spraying the flat roof with some type of elastomeric coating, or foam, and that made me wonder about my roof.
Is it possible to spray a truck bed liner or an elastomeric coating on a pro panel roof to help seal the screw holes and protect the roof from hail damage, etc? Snow coat is available for roofs but it is bright white so can that be used? If so, can it be dyed to a different color?
Also, with the raised ribs on a pro panel sealing vents and skylights can be an issue. Are there pipe & skylight flashing designed specifically for a pro panel roof with ribs, and not the type you bend over the ribs, but a flashing with ribs that fits under and over the existing ribs?
I did do a search for coatings in this forum but did not get any search results, although I did not search for flashing with ribs.

That said, the panel movement that can loosen screws over time will not be stopped by the coating. Elastomerics do need a very very clean surface for application. As far as the flashings, that is an interesting idea abut I am not aware of anything like that.
