There are so many different metal panel profiles and formats.
Regarding denting and hurricane strength:
Are metal panels stronger than metal shingles ?
Do rib profiles (for example rib number, rib height, rib type) matter for strength?
How do wavy u-shape profiles compare to partially flat profiles like 5v panels?

There will be differences in performance but generally speaking the interlocking nature of these products performs very well. You do mention some exposed fastener products and some concealed fastener products. Above all, proper installation of any metal product is critical.
