I had a metal roof installed in 2018 (Permalock(?). During Dorian it leaked and caused massive damage to my home. My insurance company said there may be issues with covering damage since the roof was not installed properly. I've asked the Roofing company that installed it to provide their insurance information and to date have note received any information. Is there a way for me to determine whether they are licensed and insured? What options do I have to fix the roof. I've been told the flashing was not installed properly and the roof has to be removed and reinstalled. There could also be an issue with the under laminate as well. Looking for any help.

Best bet it to start with a state licensing board and see if they are licensed and insured.

If licensed, your state may require them to buy a performance bond. If all that's true, talk to their insurance carrier.
