I have three needed new penetrations in a new standing seam metal roof. One 3/4" electrical, and two mini-split compressor lines.
Here are two options for the layout: one through conventional roof jack, though that's hard for the mini-split lines. The other snaking out under an unvented ridge vent:
What might be best here and why?
The cheapest job, long term, is the one done right the first time.
