Metal roofs are slippery.
I'm concerned that once this new metal roof is on, I won't be able to safely walk on it for maintenance or monitoring or inspecting rubber boots or solar panels, like I can now with a shingle roof.
What methods are there to leave a permanent safety harness hook at the ridge line?
In this case 7:12 pitch, unvented ridge cap, 1" standing seam metal.
