Hello I have 1995 single wide mobile home with original sheet metal roof.
Do I need to put any kind of underlayment paper on top before installing metal roof.
I'm concerned about sweating issue
Home is in west Virginia

According to building code, underlayment should be used. Most of the industry uses a premium synthetic and then ice and watershield as required by code. Make sure that you following roofing manufacturer instructions for your particular situation. Oftentimes ventilation is limited in mobile homes. If there are ways to increase insulation, vapor barrier, and ventilation that is usually a good thing. Also seal any air leaks from the living space to the attic such as around light fixtures and pipes.
