I am curious if the metal roof system can be installed onto a concrete slab. It’s new construction, the roof is doing using insuldeck. I don’t know all the mechanics but I am being told I need to have plywood inslallted on top of the concrete and then put the metal roof on the plywood. Alongside a bunch of other underlayment stuff. I don’t see the point of the plywood. Please help.

I would get the Insuldeck folks and your metal roof manufacturer talking to each other. I suspect they will be able to figure something out.
