Damaged Seams from Rolling?

Yes, they are telling me "It's Common", and that I got a commercial roof on a residential house and that you just don't notice it on the commercial buildings. It might be hard to see if these images, but I think its a mix of an incorrectly configured seamer...and incorrect technique with the hand seamer. I will crop and post additional photos.

I recommend that you contact DI seamers. They manufacture the tools used in seaming metal panels.

Thanks, DI seamers was great and even made a custom video on finishing a 2" seam/clips with hand crimpers and the seamer bot that I can use as "Proper Install" to set expectations.

Also, I reached out to your MRA local members and one of the local roofers came by to look at my situation and confirmed it was in their "Opinion" a bad install and if their company did the install they would do an entire rip and replace. They stated it has happened to them before and any reputable GC/Roofer would likely do the same.

I heard back from my GC and the roofing company has stated it was a bad sub and not the desirable outcome. Currently they are just wanting to rip and replace the 1st level roof as its "Most Noticeable" but I am gathering some additional information to make a case for an entire roof replacement since the second level install mistakes are noticeable from the street as well.

I plan to offer a compromise that if they can't ensure a proper double lock install, they can do a single lock or comparable snap lock for my weather conditions.
