How far can PBR panels extend or overhang the last purlin? I plan to build a patio cover with a flat sloping PBR panel roof. I would like the top edge of the panels to extend around 8 to 12 inches over the eaves of my house, without extending the rafters over said eaves. There is no snow, debris, or strong winds in our area. I was wonder how far I can extend the panels beyond the last purlin. I was thinking around a foot or so, but would appreciate any advice.

I would really refer this question to the manufacturer of the panels you use. A lot depends on the metal they are using and what they are still willing to warrant. I do think you will find a manufacturer who will support this installation, with some caveats ... but, again, you need to hear that from them, not me.
