I live in south central Alaska where summer temps average 60-70 with a few days above 75. Our metal roof leaked last winter so we had a contractor repair it this summer by installing ice shield over the covered porch and approximately 3 ft up the slope. The metal roof is black, west facing with long evening sun. I just realized that he did not use high temp ice shield. He used Grace Original. Should I be worried?

You might want to check with the folks at Grace and also ask your contractor if this has been their standard practice but I feel like it will be okay.
