As you can see in the photo, there is ice that has formed from underneath the trim piece. I have not seen this anywhere else on the roof and am concerned. The roof was just installed this past spring. Anyway, I just don't know if this is a normal/random occurrence with metal roofing or if I should be investigating into the cause.

I am not certain based upon what I see here but I suspect this is related to a condensation issue. Can you discuss it with the contractor who installed the roof?
