I have a Lustron home. I have owned it for 2 years. Two of the panels of roof are bent, it looks like 8 due to tile affect. You can see the sky from the attic.
Could I remove those 2 tiles, each about 40 in wide by 10 inch high and have them straightened or replicated?
If I have to replace the roof can I do so without using sheathing? There is no sheathing now and I'm not sure of the weight load of the metal roof frame.
A metal roof guy in Sioux Falls wants direction. He is also concerned about weight load.

They are no longer made and are difficult to fabricate / repair. If you install a new roof, I would suggest solid decking and then an aluminum or steel roof. Aluminum will be lower weight than steel. There are aluminum shingles available that look similar to your current tiles. I think you will be okay from a weight standpoint but you could have an engineer review things.
