I moved in with my girlfriend a few years ago in a 14x70 1980 Schultz. I noticed the ceiling had waterstain marks on it so I assumed roof was leaking. I stripped the roof out with 4 rows of 2x4s and and put metal on. I just rolled it with the curvature of the roof. Well this got me started on the remodel. So as I began tearing out what looks like and probably is asbestos ceiling tiles my insulation was so wet u could wring it out like a washcloth. I mean it was full of water. So I put all new insulation in and hung 3/8s drywall up.I also cut two gable holes one on each end
for vents thinking this would help.Oh yeah I just cut the old vents on the roof off even.Its been less than a year and now it's starting to sweat so bad that waters actually came through the sheetrock in a few places.It is somewhat heartbreaking to see this so please can someone tell me what I can do to stop this.

Warm moist air from the living space is reaching the back of the roofing. This is one reason why I do not like metal roofs without solid decking on residential applications. We create a lot of moisture inside our homes. We need to then either block it with air sealing and vapor barriers and insulation and/or get it vented to the outside. One option might be to spray the underside of the roofing with closed cell urethane spray foam but I suspect you do not have adequate space to do that. Look for ways to vent more and ways to seal off the living space air from the cavity beneath the roof panels.
