I have 24 gauge 16" wide panels Galvalume roof about 4 years old. This is a double lock mechanically sealed Standing Seam roof. We have a situation where several of the panels need to be replaced. Our contractor made some mistakes during instalation.
Question: Is it feasible to try to replace these panels without damaging the adjacent panels. Will this void the warrantee. Color match is a real concern. We would rather have the entire roof replaced than risk damage and have an ugly color differential but the contractor want to try to replace the bad panels.
What are your thoughts please?

It is typically very difficult / impossible to unlock mechanically seamed panels for spot repairs. He may have a way to do it on these particular panels but normally this would require replacement of the entire affected roof plane.
