My home is a converted pole barn. I have a metal roof don't know how old it is, over 15 yrs. it has many leaks. I had one co. that wants to replace it at a cost of 12,000 & not repair it. My insurance adjuster thinks I can get by with repair but trouble is finding someone that will do the repair. My roof is a mixture of nails & screws. I would like to replace the nails & screws with new screws & put a silicone sealer on either ea. screw as it's replaced or the whole roof. Just don't know what to do. Any suggestions about the price too. I don't know what the going price is.

It sounds like there were also some original installation deficiencies. As far as price, we cannot discuss that in this public form and, of course, price is determined by the size and complexity of the project.
